Hey, I'm Tasha. I'm a queer, Black & Latina DJ and vocalist and half of Homo Phono! In the 90s, I organized raves and other underground music events and since 2016, I've been co-organizing Homo Phono with my wife, Shelley. Homo Phono curates music for food and art festivals and organizes inclusive and accessible parties for queer and trans folks!
Shelley Taylor
Hey, I'm Shelley! I'm a queer, white settler who has been hosting Homo Phono events since 2016 alongside my partner, Tasha (DJ del Pilar). I'm a longtime organizer of community events in Ottawa, first through my company Venus Envy and now, Homo Phono. I believe in creating (widely) accessible spaces where 2SLGBTQIA+ people can have fun together!
